The cottage has a long history dating back to the 1820's. Situated close to the main homestead, it offers a secure, peaceful haven where one can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the Karoo countryside. The cottage is ideal for a couple or a family with up to 3 children. Self-catering or meals provided as per arrangement.

The lodge is set in the majestic Bosberg Mountains of the Eastern Cape and is only 200 km from Port Elizabeth and 15 km from Somerset East. Breathe the clean mountain air in a peaceful malaria-free environment.

We offer three Cape Dutch homesteads which have been meticulously restored to celebrate a fusion of traditional curves and modern open-plan living spaces, with every room furnished with the most luxurious textures and materials creating a relaxed elegance that allows our guests to feel at home.

Mount Marlow Lodge is a stately homestead built in 1852, located on Mount Marlow Farm, just 60 km from Somerset East. The farm is situated in typical Karoo mountain veld in which sheep, goats and wildlife flourish.

Conveniently located in the charming and historic town of Somerset East, is a comfortable guest lodge with five bedrooms, offering guests either bed and breakfast or self-catering accommodation.

Somerset House was built as a school in the Colonial style in 1905 in Paulet Street, which was the first street to be built in Somerset East in South Africa's Eastern Cape. Situated in the quietest part of a peaceful town and backing on to the Bosberg, the ambience of Somerset House is tranquil.
