Deer Cottage is a quaint renovated cottage located on a farm just outside of Kirkwood. This farm cottage dates back to 1890 and is home to the resident Axis Deer and Springbuck. Steeped in the history of past Anglo-Boer conflicts, it is now a tranquil getaway for flora and fauna enthusiasts.

This 1500 hectare, privately owned game farm in the Klein Winterhoek Mountains, offers three unique types of self-catering accommodation, namely the Intaba Lodge, Aloe Tented Camp and Deer Cottage.
