Big Ben
The West End
About Big Ben
One of London's most famous landmarks is the clock, tower and bell situated at the north end of the Houses of Parliament. Constructed in 1858, the tower houses the world’s largest four-faced chiming clock. Officially called the Elizabeth Tower, this iconic symbol of the UK goes by the nickname of Big Ben, the name of the tower’s Great Bell.
