About Beachcomber Nature Trail

My Trails are located along the spectacular South Western Cape shoreline 2.5hrs from Cape Town, South Africa’s premier Whale watching region and the Great White Shark Capital of the world. Stretching from Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of the continent, to Walker Bay Reserve, De Kelders, just south of Hermanus.

Explore this incredible coastline with a professional marine nature guide.

This area of the Cape is a diverse mix of rugged rocky shores scattered with historical and interesting Stone-Age caves, long white sandy beaches and dunes, cosy coves for some chilled swimming, pristine coastal fynbos and the amazing wildlife that has adapted to this environment. Happily most of this coastline remains largely untouched by development.

Each leg of the trail offers a unique view of this coastline and is professionally interpreted through its history of humankind and the many shipwrecks in its waters, culture, topography and the natural wildlife to be found here.

The trail can be done as a 1, 2, 3, and/ or 4 day slack-packing hike, which includes accommodation and meals (also a self catering option). You can choose from different packages depending on your preference and pocket.
