No Sunday meal

We arrived on Sunday afternoon and everything was shut down tight and we had difficulty in finding an evening meal. Recommend to other travellers that they do not make the same mistake.

This is a quiet little town in the middle of nowhere, but it has some character and is a convenient night stop en route to or from Namibia. However, it seems to have water problems.

Springbok is an ideal place to stop en route to Namibia or if travelling east to Augrabies Falls and beyond. Plenty to see and do in the surrounding area - visit Namaqua National Park to see the spring flowers, Goegap Nature Reserve to see the flowers, the wildlife and the 4x4 trails. Nababeep with it's mining museum is worth a trip. Drive the gravel road from Springbok to Kamieskroon, it's a real treat! Stopover

This town is the perfect stopover en-route to Namibia or the green Kalahari. Please take note that the shops and supermarkets close at 1pm on a Saturday and on Sunday only one supermarket is open during the morning.
Small town, great town

This is a small town in the middle of the Northern Cape. It is a town with all the shops you need and great architecture. I will visit it again.
