Beautiful, leafy suburb with a wealth of historical buildings!

Nice and close to alternative entertainment. Noisy at night but this again makes it a nice attraction for younger people. Had a safe feeling to it, although it had a lot of electric fencing in some places. Shopping mall could stay open a bit later though!

We spent a weekend in Morningside and tried a few great restaurants and met lots of friendly people in the streets and the night clubs. Don't miss out on Spiga, a famous Italian restaurant; Wakaberry, a super cool frozen yoghurt bar; House of Curries, for excellent curries with very generous portions; CZAR restaurant and night club, for funky music and people of all ages.
