Melkbosstrand is a nice quiet town, which is pretty well positioned when visiting the Cape.

I have visited Melkbosch since childhood going back 55+ years and it is a pleasure every time! It is an excellent venue for just simply relaxing. Forget about the nightlife, shopping etc.

The area is great, quite and not as busy as Blouberg. The Damhuis Restaurant is a must!

Melkbosstrand has amazing long sandy beaches with excellent waves for surfers. Bring along your board and wetsuit for a thrill in the cool Atlantic. A stone's throw away from Table View, with great shopping and restaurants on offer.

The perfect destination to enjoy both a quite and relaxing holiday as well as experiencing everything the city has to offer. It is a small town with a very friendly atmosphere with lovely restaurants on the beach. Our favourite is "The Kliphuis" - best view! You can walk on the beach for hours without feeling crowded or unsafe. You have all the shops you need and you still get a sort of village feel with the butcher and baker just around the corner.
