Waterkant Views is a stylish townhouse in the heart of the Historic Waterkant Village. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, it is just a stones-throw away from the vibrant De Waterkant life at the newly built Cape Quarters – the place to see and be seen in cosmopolitan Cape Town.
Built with an architectural doff of the cap to the heritage of the old village, Waterkant Views provides modern comfort and style in a traditional enclave. Waterkant Views suits the young at heart who love the city living and yet want the privacy of a hideaway retreat. The interior mirrors this versatility with its modern ambiance combined with cosy country-style features. This melding of the old and the new is manifested beautifully in the rooftop terrace, which offers 360 degree views, of the harbour and the city. Views one can enjoy while sitting in an enormous Jacuzzi with a glass of champagne and a satisfied smile.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
2 BEDROOMS:
Main bedroom: With queen-size bed and large built-in cupboards. En-suite bathroom with bathtub.
Second bedroom: With double bed and large built-in cupboards. En-suite bathroom with rain-shower.
Both bedrooms are air-conditioned. The bathrooms have modern high-end finishes and heated chrome towel rails.
Living Area:
From the entrance, a travertine-tiled staircase leads you into the living lounge on the first floor. You’ll be already wowed by the harbour view through the huge bay windows.
The lounge combines a living/dining area and kitchen. The open-plan lounge boasts travertine tiling and is air-conditioned. The large flat-screen TV is equipped with satellite channels and a DVD player. An iPod docking station and optional internet access complete the entertainment offering.
Harbour views continue unobstructed from the lounge, where a dining table provides Seating for 8 guests. The interior design combines modern features with earthy country toned wood and leather furniture.
The kitchen is fully equipped and offers all modern amenities, including a dish washer, microwave, stove, oven and washing machine.
Outdoor:
Patio: One has access to the outdoor patio from the lounge. This too offers beautiful harbour views, and protection from the wind in this area allows for dinners at the outdoor table. Perhaps prepared at the WEBER gas braai right next to it. A hammock, in the same area will become one of your favourite spots in the house to enjoy a book in the shade, or simply as a place for you to contemplate life, while gazing out over the harbour.
Roof Terrace: A steel and wooden staircase leads you to the breathtaking rooftop terrace, and accompanying views. The city and harbour lie before you. Your views continue from Devil’s Peak, over the top of Table Mountain and then towards the back of Signal Hill. The daybeds offer perfect relaxation in the sun. At times it can be really hot up there – but not to worry, the outside shower situated between two palm trees will cool you down. Plants in massive designer pots are true stunners, especially at night when they offer soft lighting. That’s the time when you should get ready for the heated Jacuzzi. There’s enough place for up to 10 people, although two would not feel as though they were in a pool.
Other:
Wifi: We offer complimentary high-speed Wifi with uncapped data. Also, Apple TV and Netflix are provided at the house for your entertainment.
Garage: The townhouse has a remote-controlled single garage next to the entrance door that suits for up to a mid-size car.
Security: Waterkant Views offers excellent security. The alarm system is linked to armed response security and all downstairs windows and doors have burglar bars.
Service: The house is serviced weekly by our property management (cleaning, change of linen and pool maintenance). A more frequent service is available upon request.
A breakage deposit of R3,000 has to be paid upon arrival.

★★★★★ We had a great 4-day stay at Waterkant Views. It was almost everything it claimed to be.My only criticism: the outside cushions on the sofas etc. up on the roof need to be taken off when not in use. It wasn't pleasant having a wet backside after sitting on them. I would have no problem putting them on and taking them off again once we had finished sitting up there.Secondly, the instructions on... Read more

★★★★★ Waterkant Views is truly a hidden gem within De Waterkant! We enjoyed a spotless, modern apartment on our arrival. Communication was done from the first step and we were met at the apartment even when we arrived late in the evening. We even received a box of chocolates; cookies, milk, tea and coffee were provided! The apartment consists out of two bedrooms downstairs each with its own bathroom.... Read more

★★★★★ We just got back from six nights at Waterkant Views. We were very impressed with the amount of space and amenities for the price, plus the location is great for walking downtown. It took us a few days to get the Jacuzzi going, but Cheryl was responsive in getting it fixed. We would highly recommend this townhouse to anyone visiting Cape Town and will be booking here again on our next visit!

★★★★★ We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Waterkant Views. Very modern and spacious (except for the bathrooms that are quite cramped). We felt relaxed from the moment we set our eyes on the views from the first and second floors. All amenities are catered for and every effort was made by Cheryl and Jackie to accommodate us for our honeymoon. Thank you everyone, it was a great stay!
