In the heart of the picturesque Breede River Valley, surrounded by majestic mountains, is the luxurious Reed's Country Lodge. Only 15 minutes out of Worcester, you can enjoy staying in the comfort of our fully equipped self-catering suites. Our spacious suites (40 - 60 square metres), luxury en-suite Victorian bathrooms, 100 percent cotton and down bedding, air-conditioners (warm/cold), fully equipped kitchens, furnished porches, outside braai/barbecue area, TV, DVD player, DStv (bring own card), Wi-Fi broadband Internet and complimentary tea/coffee and rusks, swimming pool, trampoline and bicycles to rent, will all add to let you feel pampered and relaxed. Braai facilities available (buy wood from us). Families are very welcome. We are child friendly - lots of open grass fields to play on! Our units can sleep up to six people. Utilize the facilities on the premises to make your stay memorable, and if you would like to explore even wider, experience all that the Breede River Valley offers, from relaxing wine tasting to adrenaline pumping river rafting etc. We became very popular for group gatherings or family reunions or Seminars. (for a minimum of 12 people and max of 25).

Character: The Lodge was an old Tobacco Barn from the early 1900 with thick Clay walls and Oregon ceilings.

Family: "We had families in mind when we restored the old barn into family units. Open fields of grass to play on, trampoline, swimming pool, table tennis, volleyball and cycling routes are fun activities for the whole family.

Great Outdoors: Canoe trips down the Breede River, a River Boat for a max of 50 people on the Breede or skiing on the big Kwaggaskloof Dam are all activities within a short distance from the Lodge

Honeymoon Romance: The huts have a romantic ambiance with open plan victorian bath (next to your bed) and dual shower. Breakfast can be delivered at your door! Aircon (warm/cold), DSTV, DVD player. Includes Champagne+ Bubble bath + lots of candles

Conference venue: Fully air-conditioned facilities for 30 delegates , 24 delegates. Accommodation available Conference equipment: LCD 64inch wide screen TV,White board/flip chart, sound system and Wi-Fi Internet . Team building available. Healthy homemade meals.

Outstanding Views: Beautiful mountain views overlooking the Lavender Field will enable you to relax and enjoy the wonder of country life.

The scenery and atmosphere was perfect, just what we needed. This was a great place for our children, 11 months and 4 years, to play and they both enjoyed it. We will definitely make a plan to come again. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Reed's Country Lodge. The views are maginificent and the Reeds family very friendly and helpful - and so are their staff. The lodge is very tastefully decorated and very inviting. I will definitely be back and also recommend this place to our family and friends when they want to take a well-deserved break. At the last moment we decided to go away for Christmas and found this lodge just outside of Worcester. The owners are fantastic hosts, at your beck and call 24/7, and they have stunning children too. The lawns are stunning for the kids to run and play, so much freedom, and the units are to die for. When Corine says luxury she means luxury.
