We are situated, 27km outside Springbok Namakwaland – Northern Cape, South Africa. If you want to experience Namakwland's Hospitality, true Tranquillity and Comfort, Naries Namakwa Retreat is the place to be.

Character: Finding an elegant and sophisticated Cape Dutch home in the middle of a semi-desert area and luxurious Namakwa Mountain Suites in a very informal Namakwaland, says something about our uniqueness and character.

Location: Naries is ideally situated on the Cape-Namibia route, but still off the beaten track.

Family: Our newly built Family Self-catering Cottages cater for children of all ages. Children from infancy up to age four stay free.

Food & Gastronomy: Renowned chef, Julene Hamann has made it her passion to train local people to dish up extraordinary and scrumptious meals.

Great Outdoors: Naries is situated in the Namaqualand countryside with breathtaking views and walking trails.

Honeymoon Romance: A romantic honeymoon itinerary should include at least two nights’ stay in our Namakwa Mountain Suites.

We stayed in the grassed hut unit for two nights. We found this to be an awesome experience, totally different from what we have ever experienced. The quiet and view of the valley is food for the soul. The food was good - from the ingredients and preparation, to the presentation. The service was equally attentive.
