A beautiful restored "dorpshuisie" that sleeps up to 6. Offers guests an authentic small-town experience. Located 3 blocks from the beautiful Vaal river and a mere 300 metres from the town's main road, where all the antique dealers, gift shops and great eateries are. Original Oregon floors and ceilings. Decorated simply and tastefully with lots of quirky touches.

Kondensmelk offers 3 bedrooms, the main is very spacious, with a queen-sized bed, French doors leading onto a small patio and a brand-new bathroom en suite. There is a spacious living room, an eat-in country kitchen, a separate shower with 2nd toilet and a wraparound veranda with Weber braai and patio furniture for alfresco dining. There is off-street parking for 2 cars, behind lockable gates.

The large stand boasts a typical small-town garden with lots of fruit trees and lawn for kids to run around on. There is no DSTV, but a good selection of DVD's and board games will keep everybody entertained on rainy afternoons. The idea with Kondensmelk, is to offer an authentic platteland stay for city folk. Personal touches like a tin of condensed milk for your coffee as welcoming gift, adds to the overall experience.

Ons het baie lekker gekuier in die huisie met 'n plaas atmosfeer. Miskien kan daar meer onlangse tydskrifte beskikbaar gestel word. Ons sal vir seker weer daar gaan kuier!

A bunch of friends stayed at Kondensmelk for the weekend. The owner was very friendly and helpful as we got lost. The house was really cute and nicely furnished...it had everything we needed! (Maybe take a plunger with you to make filter coffee) Thanks for a lovely stay!!

A little 'dorp huis' in a quiet street. Quite comfortable and all that we needed for the two days our son was riding in an enduro event. Just remember to take soap - we had to dash to the garage at shower time.
