House at Pooh Corner is a luxury country estate uniquely positioned in the heart of Noordhoek, close to the beach and only 30 minutes from Cape Town City Centre.

Whether you are escaping city life for a weekend, holidaying with your family or on honeymoon, Pooh Corner's warm hospitality with plenty of personal touches such as fresh flowers, home baked goodies and a fireside glass of port, will have you coming back again and again to this magical spot.

Pooh Corner will be enjoyed most by those who want to get away from the noise and crowds, to a beautiful home from home. Enjoy sumptuous breakfasts, served in the forested garden and watch the squirrels cavorting in the 100-year-old oak trees.

The House at Pooh Corner is situated on a one-acre forested estate with beautiful gardens and paths that meander along a river to secluded benches and picnic spots. Nature lovers will enjoy the bird life, the roaming chickens, the squirrels and the award-winning garden.

The formal herb garden, the bonsai garden, secluded swimming pool and the garden sculptures all add to the charm of this idyllic getaway. Children are welcome at Pooh Corner. The forested garden is an adventure, with meandering paths, a tree house, jungle-gym, sandpit and swings.

The paths and bridges along the river in the magical private forest are a must to explore. Our Accommodation consists of three rooms, namely Owl's House, Roo's Room and Piglet's Place. All suites are serviced daily, except on Sundays. Other features include outdoor barbecue facilities, and a secluded swimming pool.

Quality bed linen and towels are provided, with laundry and ironing services available on request. All suites are equipped with TVs, kettles, microwaves, fridges and heaters. A pram, highchair and cot are available and baby-sitting can be arranged if required. Plenty of wood is also at your disposal.

A charming, hidden away cottage with an enchanting back garden to explore. Amazing morning breakfast made personally by the host, leaving you full every morning. An amazing room just the right size for A couple getaway. Will definitely go back there for more honey pots!!

The location is lovely, being literally across the road from the Noordhoek Farm Village and close to the beach and other charming attractions. The property is lovely, it has a large garden and the rooms are thoughtfully decorated and homely. The owners are also very friendly and welcoming. We had a few issues however, that ultimately left us with a bitter taste. The owners had a large family gathering, of which we were not forewarned. Upon arrival we were INFORMED, not asked, that we had been moved to a different room because the elderly lady whose birthday was being celebrated could not make...

I have stayed at Pooh Corner before and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Kathy is so welcoming and it really feels like a home, whilst having your own space and privacy. The accommodation is homely and the breakfast is wonderful. Charlie the dog is a big highlight! The location is perfect, just a short drive or walk down to the beach or into areas such as Kalk Bay or Silvermine. Opposite the house is a Farm Village which has places for coffee and a evening meal just over the road, which is lovely. Would recommend staying here to see a different, more relaxing experience of Cape Town!

I loved Cathy's warmth and friendliness (her husband's too). I loved Cathy's breakfast offerings that were delicious and something different from the normal fare one gets churned out at hotels. One can get lost in the fabulous grounds, so many nooks and crannies to explore.A bit of heaven is my review! :)

Local is “lekker” they say. Well, it can’t get much better than Noordhoek farm village; a thatched Cape Dutch yesteryear complex with farm stall, excellent restaurants, a pub, artist studios, antiques and African collectibles and curios. This...

On the road to Noordhoek's Long Beach and tucked away under the ancient milk wood trees you will find the Red Herring restaurant. Above it is Skebanga’s Pub - a place so laid back that shoes are not essential and baggy shorts are fine. Skebanga’s...
