A hearty welcome to Highlands Lodge. We are situated in the beautiful Waboomskraal Valley, nearly halfway between Oudtshoorn and George on the N12. To overnight on this beautiful farm is an unforgettable experience. The lodge is surrounded by mountains and the trees together with the exotic plants of the Klein Karoo create a quiet serene atmosphere. We offer 16 self catering log chalets in the Outeniqua mountains in the Garden Route. All units have equipped kitchens. On site swimming pool and conference and wedding venue. Catering services provided in restaurant for group bookings as for private parties. Breakfast on request. Safe mountain retreat in nature setting. Ample bird life. All units have outside braai facilities. Pet friendly. Secure parking

Location: Set privately in rural setting in mountain range - majestic views of mountains. Set in natural fynbos and pine forests
Family: Family friendly- small jungle gym, safe environment, swimming pool, some units have barriers on decks for very small children
Wedding Venues: Perfect wedding venue, with restaurant to cater for 70 pax, small chapel, for a mountain experience wedding. Lodge can sleep 70 wedding guests. Buffet style catering. Mountain backdrop for photos
Conference venue: On the premises we have a small conference venue, catering for 35 delegates - we offer catering packages for conferences - Venue fee R300/day.
Pets Permitted: Small well trained pets are welcome
Outstanding Views: Vantage point is only available as an experience to lodge guests - 180 degree view. When the clouds are lower than the mountain top, you look down on the clouds
