Situated on the banks of the Crocodile River overlooking the Kruger National Park, Bushwise Safari Lodge combines the real Kruger-safari experience with luxurious accommodation - boasting a unique ambiance true to the safari adventure you are seeking.
Watch the Kruger National Park and the Crocodile River, where a variety of wildlife often drink at the water’s edge, at your leisure from the comfort of your vantage point on the upper deck, bar area or swimming pool. Become part of the African night and hear the roar of lions, the call of hyenas and the grunting of hippos coming from the dark.
From our safari lodge base, we offer our guests the thrill of personalized safari excursions into Kruger in our open-safari vehicle to seek out the Big 5 and experience all the wonders of this unique eco-system. The south eastern part of Kruger, where we operate, is well known for its superb game viewing with frequent sightings of lion and leopard.
We offer a variety of safari activities as well as excursions to suit every taste, timetable and pocket - from walks with an armed guide, half day safaris, night safaris, birdwatching walks and tiger fishing on the Komati River, to excursions to places of interest in the area, as well as the neighboring states of Mozambique and Swaziland.
Guests may book the dinner, bed and breakfast option, or the all-inclusive option. The rate for the all-inclusive package is R1980.00 per person per night sharing, and includes dinner, accommodation, breakfast, transfers to and from the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and one activity per day.
The entire lodge can also be booked for the private use of eight to ten persons, with discounted prices on request. All rates exclude beverages and alcohol.

Fun: Choose from elephant back safaris, horse riding, microlight flying, quad biking, tiger fishing, to open-vehicle safaris - an excellent choice for the more adventurous.
African Safari: Full day safaris to the Kruger Park in our open safari vehicle with our guide. A sunset drive to see the nocturnal animals on a three-hour night drive. An early morning walk between the animals with an armed guide is also available.
Food & Gastronomy: Our three chefs take pride in what they have to offer, and the comments in our guest book make you realize that they have turned the preparation of our traditional food into an art. Our three-course dinner is served under the stars by candlelight.
Historical & Cultural: Historical tours to Maputo and Swaziland, includes a visit to a glass factory, candle factory and a cultural village. The Panorama Tour includes a visit to the historical Pilgrims Rest, Bourke's Luck Potholes, God's window and Blyde River Canyon.
Honeymoon Romance: Our honeymoon suite has a private balcony with spectacular views over the river. An ice cold bottle of champagne will be waiting for you on arrival.
Outstanding Views: Relax on our open balcony next to our infinity pool while looking at the elephants having a bath in the river. The sunset from our balcony is breathtaking.
