You may wish to explore one of many hiking trails in the area, drive to Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, George or Oudtshoorn or choose to relax around the pool or in our lush garden. At Waterside Lodge we offer true South African hospitality and promise to make your stay an unforgettable one.

Experience a night of comfort and relaxation as you settle in to any one of our stylish rooms, each one named after an indigenous bird you’ll spot in our garden. Wilderness is surrounded by nature conservation forests and beaches which make it an ideal location for nature lovers wanting to explore any of the many hiking trails of various lengths and endurance levels.

In close proximity, either by walking or driving there you will find fishing, whale and dolphin watching, windsurfing, paragliding biking, golfing, wild live reserves, shark cave diving and even a casino.

Other towns worth visiting from here are Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, Oudtshoorn and George, each offering a unique mix of activities and sights worth seeing.

Great atmosphere, beautiful views. The suite we stayed in was very clean and very big. Breakfast every morning was amazing, beautifully presented, great range and you get every nutrient you need in a healthy meal.
