Only two and a half hours' drive from Cape Town, inspired by the rugged West Coast shoreline and the rolling waves breaking onto the white beaches of Lamberts Bay, is a guest house nestled in the heart of this charming West Coast town.

Sybille Guest House is an upmarket guest house that offers five en-suite bedrooms, each with television, tea and coffee-making facilities, heaters, and fans. Each room is decorated in a luxurious style to make you feel pampered and right at home.

A hearty breakfast is served in the sun-splashed dining room. Relax in the lounge or enjoy our beautiful garden where you will hear the waves breaking and smell the sea air. Nearby activities include quad bike trails, deep-sea fishing, 4x4 trails, a golf course, and walks along the unspoilt beaches of Lamberts Bay.

During the months of August to November nature puts on a display that cannot be imitated – it is of course flower season. The veld in and around Lamberts Bay becomes an explosion of colour that stretches as far as the eye can see – one of nature’s true marvels that should be a sight-seeing priority for every seasoned traveller.

We did not stay.

We did not stay. The booking was for 2 double on suite rooms for 3 people. When we arrived they only had 1 family room (1 double, 1 couch). We were then offered another room at extra cost. The place had a funny smell and we did not feel comfortable staying there with my 68 year old Mother in Law. We then had to find alternative accommodation for both nights (2 different places at more money). We are now R800 down, which we paid you as a deposit. So to be honest I am not ... more

Ons het 'n onvergeetlike verblyf gehad. Lappies het uit sy pad gegaan om alles vir ons so gerieflik as moontlik te maak. Met ons vertrek het ons elkeen 'n pakkie padkos ontvang vir die reis vorentoe! Ek sal definitief weer soontoe gaan. Baie dankie vir alles! We had an unforgettable stay. Lappies went out of his way to make everything as comfortable as possible. On departure we all received packed snacks for the road ahead. I will definitely go again. Thank you for everything!

We had a wonderful stay at Sybille. The owner, Lappies, made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. He greeted us at the door and showed us three apartments and we could choose which one we wanted. I just want to thank him and would recommend Sybille Guest House. Breakfast was good.
