The second floor balconies provide the perfect stage to view breathtaking sunrises over the Namib Desert and magnificent sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean.

Our central location provides the perfect base from which to venture into the spectacular sand dunes of the Namib Desert or for fishing and dolphin viewing on the flourishing Atlantic Ocean. The guest house is beautiful and clean, situated in an upmarket quiet area, only a five-minute drive to the centre of Swakopmund. The rooms are lovely. Staff and management are friendly and helfpful. Breakfast is extensive and scrumptious. Really feels like a home away from home.

My husband and I spent six glorious days at Royal Benguela Guest House in Swakopmund, and enjoyed a thoroughly glorious time. Not only was the accommodation superb, but the staff and management are outstanding - hospitable, friendly, helpful and totally efficient. We will definitely be back and are recommending this establishment to all our friends and colleagues as an upmarket, elegant but value-for-money place to stay.
