Pezulu is a small exclusive Tree House Game Lodge, situated in the game rich area of the Limpopo Province of South Africa, only 40 minutes from the Orpen Gate of the Kruger Park. The Lodge comprises of eight unique thatch and reed Tree Houses, accommodating a maximum of 22 people. Each unit has been built to blend with the environment whilst maintaining an element of luxury. No nails have been knocked into the trees, rather, the unit has been built around the trees, resulting in huge branches which are still growing, passing through the Tree House. Each unit is en suite and has a private balcony. You can sit on your balcony and have herds of animals passing below, or view a Giraffe eye to eye.

African Safari: We offer game drives & walks as well as trips to Kruger National Park

Honeymoon Romance: We have a romantic honeymoon suite with a king size bed, a sunken bath and a balcony overlooking a waterhole where animals come to drink. We offer honeymooners a private candlelight dinner at a nice spot with a glass of sparkling wine.

Our amazing dream tree house consists of a very spacious main bedroom with a king size bed on wheels, a cosy lounge, a lovely decorated bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath as well as a twin outdoor shower. From the huge balcony you have the most beautiful view over an open African plain and a waterhole. If you wish to sleep outside under the stars you can easily push your bed out on the balcony. An awesome, unforgettable experience.

Pezulu has two family units with two to three bedrooms which are able to accommodate a family with up to five children. The bedrooms are on the same level, they are only separated by a balcony. We can also put one or two beds in the parent’s bedroom for very young children who don’t want to sleep alone. From April onwards we will have a third family tree house unit with two interleading bedrooms. Children love our tree houses.

Our beautiful honeymoon tree house is built on two levels; it has a king size bed, a sitting area, a bathroom and a sunken bath with a view on the bush. You can chill out in the hanging chairs on the balcony overlooking a waterhole where animals come to drink.

Each unit has been built to blend with the environment whilst maintaining an element of luxury. No nails have been knocked into the trees, rather the units have been built around the trees, resulting in huge branches which are still growing, passing through the tree houses. Solid wooden walkways lead high into your tree house. Each unit is en-suite (outdoor shower and/or bath) and has a balcony. The tree houses are far away from each other and hidden from view to ensure privacy. All the tree houses are supplied with electricity, (hot) water, tea and coffee facilities, mosquito nets, fans and heaters.

Although we did not see a lot of animals, we enjoyed the experience. Excellent food and ambiance. We enjoyed the nice touches such as the welcome drinks and sherry after the game drive. The staff is very friendly. The Honeymoon Treehouse with bush babies and frogs was a great experience.

Wow! What an experience. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by friendly faces! We felt right at home our entire stay! The food was amazing and we loved the dinner around the boma every night! The staff were great, helpful and always went out on the limb to please us. Claude and Lydia are doing an amazing job at Pezulu! We enjoyed the stay, loved the tree house especially the outdoor shower very romantic. Lydia and Claude very friendly hosts the food was good, all the staff very helpful and friendly. I recommend a visit to Pezulu for a very romantic break away. Thanks to all we will be back.
