Panorama Lodge is perfectly situated for you to explore the Garden Route. Panorama Lodge is situated on a hilltop between Knysna Town and the Heads and enjoys superb views of the Lagoon and Heads and in the distance the silhouette of the Outeniqua Mountains near George.

You can relax on our decks and in the evenings you can enjoy a sundowner and watch the beautiful sunsets over the Lagoon. To complete your enjoyment we offer a braai/barbeque upon request.

Panorama Lodge is perfectly situated for you to explore the Garden Route, also to take advantage of the many recreational features Knysna has to offer including golf, water sports, forest walks, boat trips on the Lagoon and more.

Simply stunning B&B with incredible hosts

We stayed at Panorama Lodge between Christmas and New Year, last year, 2011. What struck me the most was not the spectacular view from the breakfast deck, nor the pristine new swimming pool slightly lower than the deck, but the sheer likeability and helpfulness of the hosts, Dieter and Tina. Nothing was too much trouble, and personal recommendations from them were never short, enabling us to get into exquisite restaurants on short notice and make the most of our time there. The hosts of this place make you feel right at home. You can use the living room with the great fireplace as much as you want and the inside of the house is fantastic. You can also use the spacious balcony, with great views over all of Knysna. The host explained a lot of things about the environment and gave us great tips on things to do. Breakfast in the morning was very good, much to choose from. Unfortunately we were only here a day, but we wished we could have stayed much longer!

It was the most wonderful time spent with Dieter, Tina and Melina! We felt at home, as if between good friends. Our daughters played together very nicely. Thank you Melina!
