Description

Mzingazi Waterfront Village is a unique complex built on the Mzingazi Canal opposite the Zululand Yacht Club, only 100 m from nine upmarket restaurants and a 4 Star Protea Hotel. It comprises units opening up onto wooden decks facing the water, some right over the water.

The units have swimming pools, braai areas and tie-on jetties for your boat. We are situated only ten minutes from a new, modern shopping mall and cinemas and one hour from the famous Hluhluwe Game Park and the St Lucia Wetlands. Big fishing competitions are held during the year. This complex has 24-hour security with the emphasis on a quiet, relaxing experience. Enjoy a 98-seater ferry, the Whale Observer, or you can arrange with a skipper to take you out for some deep sea fishing. We offer an unforgettable experience for each and all.

We spent three wonderful nights in a flat at the Mzingazi Waterfront Accommodation. The flats are clean, well-equipped and have lovely views of the marina. They are a short walk from restaurants. Best of all, however, are Kevin and Elsa who manage the property. They are some of the most wonderful, hospitable people we have met in 40 years of travelling.
