Romantic escape

To celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary, my husband and I found Mosselbank in Paternoster - the perfect escape from the busy Cape Town City life. The experience was one of exquisite simplicity. A homely, cosy atmosphere.

I must say that I've never experienced such a professional family-run B&B. Such a wonderful balance between professional, service-oriented hospitality and sincere family warmth. The breakfast was top class - incredible coffee and juice and immaculately prepared eggs, bacon, mushroom and tomato. Each member of the team added their own energy to the service, helping make restaurant bookings for us and making sure my wife and I enjoyed our stay. I will certainly go back.

We spent a fantastic week in Paternoster as part of our honeymoon. Part of this time was spent at Mosselbank B&B. We found it wonderfully relaxing and comfortable.

Was really chuffed with this spot. Although you can't see the sea, you can hear it and the beach was only 10 steps away. Close to all the nice restaurants as well. Breakfast was wonderful, owners were lovely. We could not find anything bad to say about Mosselbank and will definitely use the B&B for future stays. Only one suggestion for the owners is to maybe put small carpets down in the rooms. Might absorb some of the sound (walking on tiles is sometimes noisy) and will warm the room ...
