Mohlabetsi Safari Lodge
Although advertised as children friendly, this was not a major feature. The connecting rooms were good and food good for adults.

I wish I could visit every year!!!!!
My husband and I spent two wonderful nights here, and we went on four fantastic game drives! We had very comfortable and authentic accommodations, the outdoor shower is really neat and relaxing. Tony and Alma are fantastic hosts along with Daniella who was very welcoming! The food was delicious and set in such a wonderful and exciting environment! Our visit was so delightful and personal, we felt like personal friends of the hosts instead of just a guest. We met wonderful people d ... more

Description
Tony, Alma and their colleagues warmly welcome guests to their relaxing and friendly oasis in the bush. Set in the vast Balule Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger Park, this is home to a superb variety of fauna and flora, including the legendary “Big 5”. Our guides bring guests up close to nature on game drives and foot safaris and their experience and enthusiasm make these trips unforgettable. Comfortable thatched rondavels, with al fresco showers, are decorated in an African theme. Unwind during the heat of the day around a sparkling pool or in the shade of the lapa, under giant acacia trees. Traditional songs and dancing by African ladies herald romantic dinners under the stars, often punctuated by the roaring of lions and the whooping of hyaenas. Enjoy the cosy atmosphere of the boma, dining around a campfire or, on warmer nights, out on the open plain in front of the Lodge. The Lodge is easily accessible by road or by daily flights from Johannesburg.
