Description

Farm Ettrick Safari Lodge is a fantastic lodge that is newly built and situated in the Gobabis district, on a farm where plain game can roam freely through the property.

There are three units each comprising two spacious Chalets. Each unit has views over the waterhole about 50 m away - enjoy the most beautiful sunsets from the front of your unit. All Chalets consist of en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold water, air-conditioning, full electric power and small verandas with tables and chairs. Two of the units have luxury rooms with queen-size beds and full en-suite bathrooms with big corner baths.

The lodge has a swimming pool for the hot summer days. Game drives are offered in the mornings and afternoon, complemented with sundowner drinks and refreshments. Special bookings for the morning game drives can include a champagne breakfast or salon treatment such as massages in the bush.

Walking and stalking trails with a guide can be done for special close-up encounters with the game and Mother Nature. There are pit blinds available in which guests can sit for the day and watch animals come and drink water within 20 m. The area is good for bird life photography as well. Evening dinners will be made in the lapa around the fireplace as the African sun sets over the horizon.

African Safari: Game drives are offered in the mornings and afternoon complemented with sundowner drinks and refreshments. Try a champagne breakfast in the bush.

Wellness & Spa: Dikaios Multiwell and Slimming Salon have extended their services from Windhoek to the farm. Clients can have manicures, pedicures, various types of facials, massages, waxes and more.

Wedding Venues: Small personal weddings are possible. There is a pastor and makeup artist is on site.

Business Traveller: We have a wireless network and access to the Internet, available in the rooms at no additional cost.

Conference venue: We can cater for small conferences. We have an LCD projector with big screen, a sound system and a paper board available if needed.

Working Holidays: Guests are always welcome to help, learn and be part of what we have and do. We also have a working holiday program from a two-week stay up to a three or six-month stay. Contact management for more information.
