Our comfortable, self-contained flat is ideally situated in the small coastal suburb of Brenton on Sea, just 15 minutes from Knysna. We are within close walking distance from the Brenton Blue butterfly reserve, three small secluded beaches and a 5 km stretch of beach ideal for long walks. Enjoy walks along Fisherman’s walk on the Brenton Cliffs some 100 meters away, from which you can enjoy views that stretch the length of a white sandy beach and undeveloped coastline.

The accommodation is part of the main house, yet offers a private entrance, sea views from each room and a secure, spacious and clean environment to enjoy your holiday. The flat offers a double bedroom with en-suite walk-in shower and toilet. Towels and linen are provided but please bring your own swimming/beach towels. The flat has an open-plan, well equipped kitchen. The lounge offers two double couches and a colour television with DVD player. There is a large private patio with table and chairs and two lazy deck chairs, braai facilities, secure undercover parking with a private entrance and a fan for the summer.

The accommodation is ideally suited to a couple wanting a relaxed environment to return to after a day on the beach or after exploring our beautiful region. There are two double sleeper couches in the lounge to accommodate another two guests if required but we would recommend this only for family or close friends travelling together since the bathroom is accessed through the bedroom. The accommodation is not suited for small children. Brenton on Sea has a lovely restaurant close serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Excellent accommodation

My wife and I stayed here in February 2012. The wooden log house was amazing and our hosts, Linda and Klaus who live upstairs, were really nice, friendly and keen to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The fabulous beach is only just down the road and you can see the sea from the patio. The accommodation was very clean and spacious but suitable only for two people, as access to the shower/toilet is through the bedroom.

What an awesome experience we had. Linda and Klaus were wonderful hosts, the house is neat as a pin and the area is just out of this world. The most enjoyable holiday ever! The beaches are fantastic and a stone's throw away. The area feels safe and it is only a few minutes from Knysna. I will definitely be returning soon. The only problem with the stay was that six days is way too short.

Most enjoyable and very comfortable stay. Guest flat very well equipped and best value for money. Beautiful surroundings and safe environment. Linda and Klaus are both wonderful people who welcomed us in a wonderful manner, attended to queries, supplied us with information about the area and made us feel at home.
