Excellent!
We were warmly welcomed by the husband and wife couple running the establishment. The owners were very attentive and assisted us in planning the entire trip, including booking tours etc. We were made to feel at home. The room was clean and tastefully decorated. Overall I would say it was very good value. Thanks Joyce!

Welcome to our surprisingly different African home. Experience African bush and the warm Indian Ocean in this Natural World Heritage Site, unique in the world. Afrikhaya Guest House offers you a stylish Afro- contemporary home set in a tropical garden with four elegantly furnished, air-conditioned guestrooms with en suite bathroom. All rooms have private entrance and patio, comfortable XL beds and you can enjoy a genuine warm hospitality in an upmarket African ambiance.
Afrikhaya can be used as your base from which to explore iSimangaliso Wetland Park, previously known as the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park, a Natural World Heritage Site. In this beautiful Park a variety of activities and tours can be enjoyed: an estuary boat cruise to see hippos and crocodiles, day and night game drives, kayaking, whale watching, turtle tours and hiking trails to name a few. Your hosts gladly advise and arrange all tours for you. A Big 5 Safari in the world famous Hluhluwe iMfolozi Game Reserve only a 45 minutes drive from St. Lucia, is also an experience to remember.
We invite you to enjoy the bush and unspoilt beaches with us in this beautiful part of KwaZulu-Natal, the Elephant Coast. Your hosts will welcome you in English, Dutch or German.
