Part of the Cape Dutch Quarters portfolio, the original wagon shed of the manor house is a lovely conversion that retains the charm of its original purpose, with a thatched roof and a high reed ceiling. Heavy wooden doors with forged hinges open onto an inner set of windows.

Rooderandt Hillside Lodge is situated in the picturesque Schoemanshoek Valley near Oudtshoorn and is surrounded by the enchanting Swartberg Mountain Range. The Coach House is a newly renovated and refurbished cottage; a delightful conversion from a 19th century coach house and stable. The original grand Cape Dutch house, to which this out building belonged, was sadly demolished in the 1960s, leaving the building set in a beautiful private garden.
