Few sights are as awesome or a sound as deafening as water thundering down the 56-metre Augrabies Waterfall when the Orange River is in full flood.

Nossob Rest Camp is situated within the dry riverbed of the Nossob. The camp is surrounded by savannahs and is famous for spectacular predator sightings.

Kalahari Trails is situated on a private nature reserve just 35 km south of the main entrance gate to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park at Twee Rivieren, in the heart of the red Kalahari dune fields.

This remains one of the most popular spots in the park and ablutions with cold showers have been built to service 12 campsites.

The camp has four LC2 Log Cabin units. Each unit has two single beds, a bathroom with a shower, an equipped kitchen with a gas fridge and freezer, solar power for lights, gas for hot water and braai facilities on a deck.

The camp is situated on the banks of the Auob River on the western boundary of the park. The camp borders Namibia and it is surrounded by thorny Kalahari dune bushveld.

Haak-en-Steek Rest Camp offers one rustic cottage which is self-catering. There is a braai facility in the lapa, a gas stove and oven, a gas fridge-freezer, kitchen utensils, cutlery and crockery.
